This section will outline the Privacy Policy that regulates the use of the website service that the CITY COUNCIL OF A CORUÑA makes available to internet users, regarding the personal information that may be provided when visiting our web page.

In cases where it is necessary to fill out and send a form, doing such will necessarily imply that you were informed (pursuant to section 5 of the LOPD), and in said case, granted the corresponding consent (in view of section 6 of the LOPD) to the content in the form’s annexed clause and this privacy policy.

The user must fill out the forms with true, exact, complete and up-to-date information, and in that precise moment they will be informed of the data that is compulsory (*) and the consequences of not giving it. Likewise, when accepting this data, the user acknowledges that the information and personal data gathered are true and exact.

2.     Security Measures

All of this is in accordance with that established in section 9 of the LOPD and Royal Decree 1720/2007 of 21 December which approves the Regulation developing Organic Law 15/1993 of 13 December on personal data protection.

Thus, the CITY COUNCIL OF A CORUÑA has established additional measures in order to reinforce the confidentiality and integrity of the information in the organisations, as well as establishing limitations on the use of email when sending data or documents of a confidential nature. However, the user must be aware that internet security measures are not infallible.

3.     Exercising you Rights: Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition

Those natural persons that provide their data to the CITY COUNCIL OF A CORUÑA can turn to this administration, in its quality as being responsible for the file, with the aim of being to free to exercise their rights to access, rectify, cancel and oppose to the data incorporated in their files in the terms set out in the legislation in force.

Due to the confidential nature of the information, you cannot exercise your rights over the telephone as through this means you cannot identify yourself as the owner of the registered data.

Their written and signed request should be accompanied by a photocopy of their identification (DNI in the case of Spanish citizens) for accreditation purposes.

4.     Use of Cookies

6.     Modification of the Privacy Policy

The CITY COUNCIL OF A CORUÑA reserves the right to modify their privacy policy in accordance with their own criteria, or as the result of an alteration of the clauses dictated by the Spanish Agency for the protection of personal data.
