“A current, attractive format that gives way to tradition and modernity, to cuisine and its diversity, to the best produce and to a public seeking great experiences”.

Why the SAL Festival?

Sal, meaning salt in Spanish, is not just an essential element of cooking, but a symbol of the way of facing the world and giving gastronomy its own personality. Bathed by the ocean and the Atlantic winds, salt plays a fundamental role in the gastronomy of A Coruña: it is used to cook Atlantic fish and seafood, to make delicious cheese and to season our magnificent meat.
