Music will have a noted presence at the SAL A Coruña Atlantic Flavours Festival, and will take to the main stage thanks to Hijos de Rivera. And it could be no other way, being backed by Cerveza 1906, the three days of the festival will have a soundtrack from the best of local and national jazz.

Local groups Sara Lorenzo Trio and The Swinging Flamingos Sextet will open and close the musical programme of this first edition of the gastro-festival in A Coruña, with respective performances on Friday night and Sunday lunchtime.

One of the tastiest performances will come at the hands of María Toro (A Coruña), who despite her young age has carved out an enviable professional career. Her work and talent have taken her to play with great groups such as Flamencos on Route, and to have incredible experiences in Rio de Janeiro and New York.

And to end the second day, Antonio Lizana will take to the SAL Stage; this is an artist who has put a breath of fresh air into the fusion between flamenco and jazz. This artist from Cadiz combines his melodies with the saxophone and flamenco singing in a concert where improvisation, strength and the musician’s sublime finger work will surprise the audience.

And to liven up the three days of the SAL Atlantic Flavours Festival, DJ Cuco will be present; a classic in the DJ booths of A Coruña, and also of the festivities and gastronomic events in the city.
