As a master Scottish pastry chef, Helen Vass manages her own consultancy business and patisserie: Dulce. Her creations have been awarded with various prizes, such as the Callebaut Patisserie Chef of the Year 2017, and the Dessert Gold Medal at the Scottish Food Awards & Academy the same year. Helen has worked with some of the best pastry chefs and restaurants in the world, such as Pretty Sweet in London and The Three Chimneys on the Isle of Skye. She also worked at 2AA rosette restaurant Number 16 in Glasgow, Pastelería Escribà in Barcelona and the Blythswood Square hotel in Glasgow. Vass transmits her passion for patisserie and is a guest lecturer at the Claire Clark Academy in Milton Keynes and the Cook School Scotland in Kilmarnock.

At the SAL A Coruña Atlantic Flavours Festival she will give a cooking demonstration alongside the Scottish food critic Rachel McCormack.
