Manuel Garea is a chef and pastry chef trained at the CSHG (Hotel Management School of Galicia) in the specialities of cooking (confectionery/bakery) and high level technician in catering. He later carried out an internship and worked in various catering companies such as the Hostal de los Reyes Católicos, the Hotel Puerta del Camino in Santiago and Casa Solla (Poio, Pontevedra). His professional career stands out for his period in France at the restaurant Le Millénaire, with one Michelin star and various other cooking and confectionery awards.

Currently, as well as leading the pastelería Trisquel bakery in Melide (A Coruña), he also works as a teacher for companies in the hospitality sector and the CSHG (Hotel Management School of Galicia), he belongs to the Galician regional government’s technical panel of honey tasters and he often collaborates with the magazine Alacena Roja.
