Daniel López studied Hospitality and Cooking at IES Fragas do Eume, and afterwards he trained in the kitchens of Casa Marcelo, Casa Pendás and in Le Bistrot du Paz, in Courchevel (France). The young chef opened O Camiño do Inglés in 2010, a bet that puts Ferrol on the map in terms of haute-cuisine. Since then, various acknowledgements have come his way. In 2017 the Michelin Guide bestowed the restaurant with a Bib Gourmand for the merit in creating high quality cuisine at an affordable price. That same year he won the Spanish Tapas Championship at the Salón de Gourmets and was a finalist in the Young Chefs Contents of the Year at the Fórum Gastronómico in A Coruña.

His cuisine is international, with technique serving the produce, which arrives directly from the Ferrol market.

He will take part in the SAL A Coruña Atlantic Flavours Festival in an Atlantic Jam Session alongside Diego López ‘Moli’ (La Molinera).
