Caco Agrasar’s schooling without doubt came from his mother. With one Michelin Star, each day the chef shows his love of the Atlantic and the Costa da Morte, where his restaurant As Garzas is located (Malpica). His parents opened the eatery in the 1990s and in 2002 Caco took to the head of the kitchen, converting the restaurant into a reference in contemporary Galician cuisine.

As Garzas is a market kitchen based on fish and seafood. The produce is the star of the dishes, that demonstrate traditional Galician marine cuisine, but with a modern vision in terms of their elaboration and delicate contemporary influences. This 2018 he will become the director of the future hospitality school Escuela de Hostelería de Carballo (A Coruña).
