Marcos Morán’s cuisine comes from his family. In 1999 he started to work at the family business, Gerardo (Prendes, Asturias), which dates back to 1882 and has had a Michelin Star for more than 25 years. Morán trained at the Hospitality School in Gijón and spent time at El Celler de Can Roca, as well as learning at Arzak, Berasategui and Zuberoa. Marcos Morán’s cuisine is an overhaul of traditional Asturian gastronomy and represents the best of the Cantabrian sea’s coastline.
