Pablo Pizarro
Cooking demonstration
Although he was born in Argentina, Pablo Pizarro is an adopted Galician. He is one of the chefs that is transforming the A Coruña gastronomy scene and turning “tapas” into haute-cuisine in the city. In the kitchen in his house he discovered his passion, fell in love with cooking and went on to study hospitality. He trained at restaurants such as Zanko, Pimentón and the hotel Attica 21. In 2014 he joined Bocanegra, by Concepto Negra, a novel gastronomic project in A Coruña where he has complete freedom to grow. In his colourful signature tapas he works with the best native and market produce, introducing exotic influences in his elaboration.
He will take part in the SAL A Coruña Atlantic Flavours Festival in an Atlantic Jam Session alongside Alberto Lareo (Manso) and Juanlu Fernández (Cañabota).
